Thank you sir, yah I am in love too... keeping the GTI for a while as a daily until I get the wagon in a comfortable space.

Already has a 5-speed w58 swap, but it needs tons of work. The springs were insanely chopped (about 1/3 remaining) so those have been replaced over the weekend. I should have waited because I just pulled a mk1 supra rear end (3.73 gear ratio over the stock autos 4.1 which was left with the swap) + lsd with rear discs. Planning to install that over the next week, and possibly a 7mgte (currently 5mge) over the next couple of months.

Once I sell the OZ / BBS wheels I posted in the classified going to be getting some nice 4x114 wheels for it.

Thanks I'll be sure to add a build thread... IDK what to do with suspension at the moment, thinking air may be best.

Going 7mgte I believe, much easier swap and can be had/built for decently cheap.

Got the wagon running last night (swapped a mk1 supra rear end on for lsd, 3.73 ratio and disc brakes). Car drives great, but my new 15x7 et0 temporary wheels show how much wider wheels this baby can handle. Just have to figure out something for the front suspension since I like the rear height as is.

I will try to document everything now and make a build soon. I bought this car to save up for a house, but Idk how it is helping lol.

                    Future plans are:
                    Figure out suspension (possibly air)
                    7mgte
                    15x9 et(-)xx wheels.
