  • Hello from Austin, TX. Out with the '07 Focus, in with the '81 Celica GT!

Hey All, so My name is Jason, I currently drive a 2007 Focus ST, and although I like it, I have found a 1981 Celica GT coupe that would be a blast to own. So, I'm selling the ST(not here, I have a buyer already) to finance what I have quite cheesily dubbed Project:Hentai. Not sure what all I want to do to it, but I know I want to be LOW. Whether that means coils or bags, I have not decided yet, which is why I'm here. I want to learn how to do it right, because I see people failing at it all the time and know that I don't wanna follow in those footsteps. I hear this is where the Stance Gurus live and lurk, so I'm here to learn from Y'all. Anyway, this is My Focus ST, very mildly modded but fun to drive:

And the Celica as She sits today, collecting dust and baking in the toasty TX Sun:

This project won't take off til January of 2012, but when it does, I'll be sure to post a build thread. The thing runs but needs a LOT of work under the hood, and it took a hit on the P/S front corner, but I'm collecting body parts as I can afford them.

Well, I'm here to learn, so let the schooling begin!

Thanks, I'm definitely not afraid of the Search button. It's a place I recommend on the forum I get the dubious honor of moderating.
