hi all. i have a 2008 Scion xD Release Series 1.0 that i am getting ready to start modding. i've been wondering what direction to go with it and decided last night to do vip style. been doing some research and i was pointed in this direction for info.

I'm not feeling the front bumper, but a vip style would definitly be interesting, and could be pretty bad ass. In a cute way.

that is the way it came from the factory. it is #514 of 2000 with that body kit & color. i've only had the car for about a month.

Is this your first Scion? There's a pretty big Scion scene in DFW. Back in 2004(?) me and a buddy started the StyleWagons club in DFW which was for xB's only at the time. I don't know if StyleWagons is still around or not, but there is another club called Scikotics. My buddy Jon started that club in Tulsa and it has gone national. There's a pretty big group of Scikotics in the DFW area. You should definitely check them out. Lots of good people in that group with some pretty good connections for parts, wheels, etc.

nah, it's not my first scion. i had a 06 xB in 2007. i've been part of 3 different chapters of Scikotics in that time. i guess i'm kinda part of the Funkytown chapter now since i have friends there...and i know the HMFIC of the DFW chapter.

Sweet! I miss the old school Scion days, but it got exhausting running a club and dealing with everyone's shit. I finally abandoned it completely and got a truck. LMAO! Can't wait to see what you do with the xD.

i've worked on a few different platforms since my last scion and none of them really was what i was wanting to do...so now i'm back to scion.
