Just checking in, My name is Tony and I'm from Tejas. Bought my Rabbit in 08 brand new, and have been working on her ever since. I've loved cars ever since I learned to drive.
Car's i've owned:
91 CRX DX
94 CRX Del-Sol Vtec
99 Civic EX
01 VW Jetta, Wolfsburg Ed.
97 VW GTI, Supercharged VR6
08 VW Rabbit, "Chloe"
I did some slight modifications to the CRX's (Intake, short shifter), Nothing to the Civic, but then I found VW's.
Enter; Redstripe, Jamaican for... Nevermind.
Springs, Wheels, Votex, Lamin-x, and Hand laid pinstripe on the hood.
I had a SSBC boost controller, Forge 007 Diverter valve, Dieselgeek short shifter, and a cow femur bone as a shift knob. (i'm wierd like that I guess)

after much agrivation I sold her for this:

She wasn't much to look at, Though she had H&R Coilovers and a boat load of engine modifications topped off with a Vortec Supercharger. Fun car. Ugly, but fun car. Didn't keep her long, because my loyalties lied elsewhere. I had already caught the MKV bug and was determined to have a rabbit all to my self. Enter, the birth of Chloe.

At this point, I was convinced that this OEM+ stage was as far as I was going to go. H&R Cup kit (though quality stuff) eventually heeded way to an FK Coilover setup. It snowballed from there. I wound up having the Tail lights Tinted by Dorbritz Designs, bought an intake from BSH Speedshop, and wanted to change the wheels up a bit.
Things changed when I learned of a company called Motorsport-Tech. They enabled me to run my favorite wheels ever, Corvette Sawblades. Say what you will about them being played or not belonging on a german car, blah blah blah, but Ever since I was a child playing with Hotwheels and just getting the "automobile" bug, I've loved these wheels. I was overjoyed when I could actually run them! This forced me into the world of "Stance". I had already ran low with the FK's, but due to the tires and offset of the old wheels, I was unable to truly get the car how I wanted. I learned about tire stretch, offset, and the overall flow of a car. Slowly, Imperfectly, I trudged forth.

Since then, i've cleaned things up a bit, lost the stickers, had the rub strips painted, deleted the rear wiper, added a bit of red pinstriping to the interior. It had a Cupra R lip but that got ripped off one exceptionally icy winter. I then bought a votex front lip that I enjoy much more.
Then, Something inside snapped...

I'll have more on that later. Just wanting to say Hi, introduce myself to the Stanceworks community, and see what this place is all about! Thanks for having me.
