Hey guys,

Ive spent some time here just looking around. Unfortunately, I don't have much to contribute at the moment. You see, I've got the "wrong car". Always has been. It's the gutless version of a great drag platform. Most fox-bodies have bolt ons galore and go drag racing. But my car's the lightweight version with no power anything and a small motor, it should handle well, right? Nah, it doesn't do that very well either. But that's ok. It was my first car. I'll probably keep it forever. There are big plans for it. It'll still be the "wrong car" for everything I'll do with it. But that will make it even better.

some body work to ease the pains of being a college commuter car, little fender work, new front bumper, fix the panel alignment up front, paint it,, put the older model dash in it (looks cleaner to me), nice seats, subframe connectors, 4-6point cage, 2.3 turbo, and lots of suspension goodies to make it handle better and look good (be low). 5 lug conversion so I actually have wheel choices (4x108 sucks), brakes, yadda yadda.

i know this is a very old thread, but what about putting in a 302? and maybe do some mods on that? probably be alot faster.
