Hey all. Joined awhile ago and just lurked for a couple months. I recently moved outa Iowa and down to Charlotte NC and figured it was about time i posted here.

I drive a bagged blacked out mk5 GTI. I know it doesnt take much to pull off that theme and theres nothing crazy special about my car, but i take pride in it.

Heres a couple pictures i snapped today while leaving the office.

yeah, i dont really clean it like i did when i was in Iowa. I havent gotten use to the heat and humidity down here yet. Every time i go to wash it, i feel like i'm having a heat stroke.

Are you still on the OEM bags or did you move to aftermarket?

Thanks all. Its been my first dive into airride, which has been pretty interesting. You can say its had some... ups and downs...

I have airlift XLs all around, with airlift's autopilot for the management system.

Looks good man, was just messing with you because so many MK5s are on bags. Used to post a lot on VWvortex but recently got rid of my MK5 so I haven't been around much.

Ha, yeah i figured. i dont really cruise around the mk5 forum on vortex much. i kind of lurk in the air ride section to gather ideas for future plans/builds.

I'm in the southside of town. I live down the street from Carolina Place Mall. I dont really see a lot of fitted cars around my area or in South Park, which is where i work.

I'm in the University area. I work downtown. Saw a NICE S2000 today that was mad low. A couple of Bimmers and a nice Audi Avant pass me down there on the regular
