Yeah....

so it's been a couple years since I've been here, so I decided to update my first thread and try to be more of a regular here.

Since the first pics above I haven't done too much but enough to make a difference.

-Bought raceland ultimos (**** me if you will, I like em)
-Got some crusty style 5's I found for $300! Cleaned them up myself
-oem M3 lip
-Silver valve stem covers
-BBS valve stem caps
-Like new leather seats
-90% wood grain interior part swap. Still need a wood ebrake handle and wheel
-Leapord print headliner
-All red tails
-Clear smoked corners
-Yellow Fogs
-Cooling system overhaul
-FDM
-TMS chip
-CAI
-Straight pipe..


My 5's have been though a few stages because I couldn't decide what I liked. But I did enjoy that it only took a weekend to pop them out, do what I want, and bolt them back in before the neighbors knew what hit em! I used to love the look on their faces, "... am i going crazy?! I thought you're rims were black the other day"

anyways, onto the pics, you'll have to excuse the quality. I have nothing more than an outdated camera phone:

Here's what they looked like when I first got them.. you get what you pay for huh?



Later that same day, maybe 2 hours in:





So first was up was plain ol silver of course. This is after the refinish and the before and after polish:





The silver looked good but was too oem for me. So I went with creme/off white with custom Vans stickerbombed Centercaps. I loved it to death but keeping it clean made me change it after a few months. This and the rest of the colors are all rattle can spray jobs.





After that was stripped I tried to go a unique route with some copper spray I found at advance auto. It was worth a shot I figured. I always wanted to know what colored lips looked like and sprayed the centers black at the same time to accent it. I think it came out ok but the translucent spray didn't stick very well and started to flak away after a car wash -___-




This is the only pic I had of it on the car. This was also before I lowered it





After stripping the rest of the copper, I just kept the black centers:






After I got tired of the typical black on black I went with white... but didn't get any pictures.

I added to the white with some black and gray plasti dip to try to make a snow camo look.... It failed LOL:







And finally after the shortly lived failed camo look, it leads me to my current and most likely keeping setup, Yellow. I couldn't decide between this or orange. I went with this to color coordinate with the fogs







next plans, who knows. Maybe an m3 bumper. I'm trying to stay away from it so I can look different, but I can't fight it for much longer..

In the pictures it was 215/40 fronts, 215/45 rears. Just bought all new 205/40's all around and lowered the rear a tad more

I have caps, I just don't like them. They make the wheels look too flat. I'd have to find some flat caps maybe

I rolled all 4 fenders but will probably get them pulled after I get spacers.
