[B]Hello Everyone. Noob from NYC. I own a 2006 Nissan Altima SE-R. I need some assistance for some innovative ways on how to get my SE-R to a better stance. Please feel free to input your ideas. [/B
You know who Jason is? Anyone here read the Bible or know most of the stories etc? Who's the guy that stands at the gate and decides if you get into heaven or not? That's Jason. He processes everyone in the intro threads and welcomes them.

Absolutely get coilovers, always the first step you gotta take if you want to do it right. You can learn a lot by just sticking around here, we're all a friendly bunch. Don't be afraid to ask your questions, lots of guys can help you out. Welcome!
Yes. Going to do so soon. I am even thinking about going with bags. That photo was taken before my drop. I am on Tein H Tech Springs [1.3" Front, 0.8" Rear]. Not aggressive due to NYC roads.

Anytime, Bags are definitely a good thing to have in new york. I know how bad the roads suck up a few hours north of you as well as down there. If you can afford them, go for bags you really won't regret it.

Bags are expensive and heavy. Something to really think about whether to go with Bags or Coils.
That is true, I guess it really depends upon preference and how low you're willing to go with the car. Looking forward to seeing what you do either way!

I would love to go with Bags since NYC roads are nearly the worst in the states but I just have to weigh my odds and see what's more reasonable money wise and long term decisions.
My previous car was an Altima SER, I really miss it. I had Eibach Sportlines/SER shocks in the front and NISMO struts/springs in the rear. I had 245/45/18s on the stock wheels, 1.5 finger gap all around. If I bought 25mm spacers it would have been perfect. Looked like this:
Air Suspension weighs nearly 100lbs due to tank size, number of compressors, air cylinders or air struts or air bags. Coilovers are not heavy at all.
Depending on the setup it doesn't have to be heavy at all. you can look into a single compressor and 3 gallon tank and not be heavy at all. Also the you can get aluminum tanks rather than steel.

Definitely a big decision especially if you may have to sell the car in the near future for some chance. Good luck either way you decide to go if you're planning on keeping the car for a long time honestly air may be worth it. Really isn't worth tearing up and wrecking a really nice car just to have it sit as low as you would like.
and Kramer didn't know you had one of those. Definitely look like yours was really nice though.
From a fellow Altima owner, welcome to the board. If you want to get slammed, pick up some Ksports or D2's, they'll get you the lowest static drop, keep those SE-R wheels, too (or I'll take them off your hands if you upgrade).
