Dutch Red Volkswagen Polo

Hi all,

I am Jurre Jan, 20 y'o I live in the Netherlands and this is my first car:

Volkswagen polo 2f (3) type 86c with a 1.3 55bhp injection engine.

When I bought this car it looked like this: aka polo country






Ah well, between then and now





Finally lowered





Finally new rims, 13'' 7j Borbet Atiwe





Self painted ATS rims, planned to use them as winter wheels, but they drive horrible



Well that's all nice and done, now i've got a problem, there are only 55bhp available

Began with flowing the intake manifold:


And that's all i've done so far because I picked up a 1.4 ABD engine from a Golf mk3 which I am planning to swap with the stock NZ engine.

Before and halfway done







Replaced all bearings and oil scrape rings, seals so far. But now I am running a bit low on money

Plans are:
flow the cilinderhead, catcams or Dbilas camshaft and some nice bikecarbs

I must say I have not done much about my car since I registered here

But still did a couple of things, like replacing the standard NZ camshaft with a Golf mk3 ABD camshaft. For a better gasrespons and a slightly quicker acceleration.





And just a random picture of the front of the car..



And I have been to the M.I.V.W. Meeting in Holland: (oh and yeah the hood bra is new)





Last thing I did on my car was remove the rearscreen wiper



And yeah, it still needs more low But I just simply can't realise that with these wheels I have now and I love my Borbet Atiwe's

i've got one too... the older model, no coupe, but also an 1.3 injektion engine.

the suspension-system is aweful, hard work to slam a polo real deep! i made it but finaly my polo is so fucking hard, i dont want to ride with it.

Suspension system is indeed awful, I really want a adjustable coilover set, but they cost over 600 euro, I paid about 100 for the coilovers i've got now haha
You have a steilheck or a classic ? The mk2 for sure.

What suspension system you've got under your polo?
