Been looking through the forums for a bit, figured finally join and be a part of the community.
I have a simple first gen foz. nothing spectacular done to it, just dropped.

had a lady friend drive for me so i could take rollers for a friend. stopped at the waterfront, figured I snap a few pictures of my forester. honestly, too ashamed to show my wheels and donut tires. but has a lot of work that still needs to be done to it. in due time.

Thank you...and honestly It's been somewhat difficult trying to decide what wheel set up I would go with. For a while I had my heart set on 18x9.5's, but recently on my sf forum (forester site), a fellow member with also a first gen forester was rolling on those...and the wheel set up looked a little big for my taste, on top of that, wouldn't be as low as I'd want to be.

So I've been looking into 17x9 with 215_45 tires. What wheels exactly...thats the more difficult decision. I'm trying to avoid the typical subaru choice of rota-grids. but have been leaning towards white wheels. gold or bronze would also work, but have been feeling the white...just don't know exactly what.

Right now I don't have the funds. but in the next month or so I should, so I definitely have time to decide and do more research.

lol ok ok here are some side shots...feel free to scrutinize the wheels, I'm very aware they're beyond horrible. story is, this car was a hand me down from my parents. got it completely stock...except the wheels. They got those american racing les schwab wheels...and they didn't keep the stock ones . anyways, to make them less horrid, I rattle canned them and clear coated them, so they're somewhat less noticable lol...sorta.

                    before clear corners

after I made clear corners. made it a little bit cleaner looking. I'll probably get rid of the glass stainer I did on my fogs too at some point.

                    baby camber

as I've said, there is a lot of work to be done. I used to be just a little lower, but because of obvious donut 4x4 wheel size complications, I had to raise it. My new wheel set up, I'll be able to drop it more again (along with some other mods;plates, spacers to achieve the low/stance i want). for now though, this is where she's at. I'll eventually have to do some work in the wheel wells, do some fender rolling/pulling. get rid of my flapss at some point.etc. input and criticism is obviously helpful for me so.

I like how it is right now.

Paint the wheels a different color, silver or white, to make them look bigger and put space the wheels a bit so you're as tucked and you've got a dope(r) forester.

Eibach coilovers. mostly anything that fits from like an 02-07 impreza, can fit on mine.

my ride's current state now. did some cleaning up to the front end. I just need wheel idea's.
at first i was thinking frost white work emotions...but I'm unsure. anyone have any good ideas, would be appreciated.
