  • Davegerous introduction

I'm Dave, I have an 83 E21 with a mazda 12A swap. I've done lots of stuff to this car, and it's about at the height I want it up front, although I can more than likely have the sub frame on the ground if I let the coilovers down all the way. I might bring the back down a touch, but I want to fix the toe problem that's killing my tires first.

    anyways, here it is:

and a few from the past:

and a flashback to the day I brought it home, MONSTER TRUCKIN'!

Since this thread doesn't really begin to explain my endeavors with this car, I was considering putting a build thread on here. I'm joining this site because it seems like most of the cars that I really like are on here, so I might as well give it a try.

thanks lads. I think I'm going to make a build thread on here and post a link to it in this thread. Stand by to stand by.

as for the engine, it's a rotary out of a 1st generation RX7. it's a 1.1 litre and based on what I've read about Dyno results on RX7's with similar engine mods, I have somewhere around 130 wheel horsepower... but since it probably has a lot of miles on it (couldn't tell you how many) and because my rear suspension toes in so bad, It could be 120 wheel horse power or less. who knows? This car isn't amazingly fast, but it will sure get out of it's own way just fine and I've never once had an time where the car didn't have enough power. it also gets somewhere between 23 and 26 mpg on the highway! apparently that's unheard of for an engine like this, in a good way.
