Another E28...4x4 ;)

Hey everyone, been browsing the forum for a while and decided to finally join.

I've only had one slammed car so far, EF9, no pics though, and i've had a ton of 240s, just recently bought my first Bimmer

I'm probably the worst "photographer" on the site, I wouldn't even call it photography, heres a crappy pic of my POS, from a cell phone





Plans:
Obviously some decent stance
Would like to do a 1jz swap
Source out a cleaner interior
Few other little things

Anyways, its a work in progress, hopefully after this semester is over with i can actually get a few things done.

WELCOME! taking the same steps im about to be lol shopping for e28's as we speak. Hows the body? and what do you know of swapping 1j's into these? Im an mr2turbo guy but have no idea the logistics of putting a 1jz into an e28

I know i'll need to make my own mounts, driveshaft,and do the wiring. But i've seen 2 E28's with a 1jz swap: Rusty, and a guy on mye28.com by the username of "Moose" has a 1j..

I got lucky finding mine, only slight surface rust inside the trunk, never been wrecked either, oh and its a 535i, 5 speed :P

Very interested in your project! Have you seen any build threads anywhere for the engine conversion? I've still not been able to find one but I fancy having a go!

Unfortunately Mike and I didn't really document much on either of our swaps, so no real build threads.
