Hej there. Guess what … I'm into cars. I've driven a few in the past years and each one was different. At the moment I take care off an 1979 Ford Taunus (Cortina in the UK). It's got a shitty little fourbanger, enough rust for various other cars and it's almost stock at the moment. Which is gonna be changed during the next couple of months.

When I bought this old beater it looked like this:

Some days ago I just changed the wheels for a set I got cheap. It's still all stock but of course there are plans to change that. First it has to run properly, hope to fix that issue until next week. It looks like this for now.

Oh thanks. These wheels just need a little bit of refurbishing and painting. It's a set of ATS wheels in 7x15". The rubber is almost new so it works well for the moment.

              That looks sick.

Please don't paint the wheels green. Welcome to StanceWorks.

my dad had a cortina before he moved to the states. it looks like a fun little car, even if it struggles to escape it's own smell.

I kinda like the green... although not keen on the grill/headlight mod.

Looking forward to seeing it sparkin'

Thanks guys. At the moment I'm refurbishing a Weber carb that was used on the GT version. In combination with another header it was good for additional 16hp. Just got the last bits for that yesterday and I hope I'll find the time to complete it tomorrow evening.

Cool, never knew these came in a 2-door. My Dad used to have a mk5 one when I was growing up and that's just brought back memories of it! Subscribed!
