  • G'day e24 Aussie in the uk.

    G'day
    My names Saxon.
Im 20 years old living in the uk ( though i left Australia when i was 18 to explore).
I am now studying automotive engineering, though it was not my first choice.
Dispite studying said subject, i had very little practical experience untill i got work as a car breaker of classic bmws and saved enough money to buy my dream car after a year and a half of searching in this country
Bought my self a 1987 635csi, ( though i figure you already figured).
Not in the best shape but thats why i bought her .
She had rotten arches aand sills which are all now sorted, i swapped the transmission to a manual on axle stands in a cold shed in the middle of nowhere during the winter in my spare time.

    here she is.
http://img227.imageshack.us/g/67000230.jpg/ill post more pics when i can ( at uni at the momoent and upload download sites are restricted.)
I am an engine nerd and spent my savings on a programable ecu, my uni major work is all based on engine control/monitoring systems ( modified (chipped) vs stock ecu maps) and i have recently had time to finilise testing so here are some dyno figures for you the figure below is a test of a chip that the previous owner had installed against a stock ecu ( chip was hardwired in so i had to have 2 ecus) the ecu that i splurged on the loom is still under construction it is a link g4 xtreme if you are familiar wiht making looms i could really do with some help... anyway here you go
    obligatory dyno video

As i have finaly moved my six down to my own garage from the workshop i used to work, i can now begin to work on it in my spare time. here is a walk around of the car now that it has been lowered ( 30mm, springs are hard to find for this car and i dont want to cut them)

I look forward to getting to interact and know you better.
