  • BMW e30 from the Bay!!!(CA)

Hello stanceworks, been lurking around for a long time and decided I can join now. There's so many awesome cars on here. I never joined cuz my stance is not comparable to your guys'. Guess I was embarrassed. anyways, super bored in class so I'll do an intro.
So since I was 16 I acquired a 1988 325 automatic with tan interior. To bring you up to date. My car is now lowered on eibach pro kit (cut 1 coil up front). 16" BBS RX with 205/50's. Did an e2i swap (327 "stroker") on the 250k eta motor. Also a manual tranny swap cuz the auto took a shit. With a 272 cam and bigger afm. Alpina clone chip. Definately woke up the motor. Swapped the tan comfort seats with black leather and put in 80's recaro ls sport seats and other miscellaneous interior parts.

Reason I'm joining is cuz I have fallen in love with stance and wish to stance my e30, but to be honest, I'm gonna need your help. Think my BBS rx's could do the job? I feel like I can have a place on here now that I just ordered my ground control coil over kit! (shortened struts). Should be installing them Saturday .

Here's my build thread. For more details.

In class right now, but will do when I get back. Also have a 1967 camaro, it's lowered, but definitely not stanced at all. How awesome would that be? I'll throw a couple of those up too.

So, Got the GC's installed. Now I'm just having to work with 7" wide rims. My rear is almost all the way down. 1-2 threads left. The front is a little past half down. When I get a skid plate, I will then lower it down more up front. Current set up is 440f/650r shortened struts with koni's. My rims are BBS RX et35 16x7, 205/50 tires. Also have 10 mm spacers. I don't quite understand the whole et offset mumbo jumbo...where is a good place to help me understand it all..or if someone wants to shed some light to me. I want stance, but I'm pretty sure I have the right suspension, just need the right wheels now. But how to find that perfect set? I'm liking the KT1's in a 17" rim. But gotta save, heres a pic. will get better pics soon. Criticism welcome.

Rimtuck.com should help you figure out everything you need to know.

Chances are the setup you want to run has already been done and catalogued by someone else.
