  • Yet Another UK newbie

Well hello all, im on every other forum so why not this one too

I modify MINIs through out the UK which is my main thing at present, but ive also a huge interest in dubs, always have before i could even drive, ive even got issue one right upto present of Performance VW magazine

Im currently rolling in a MK3 Golf Gti (Mystic Blue in colour)which i found in a pretty sad state on ebay. Got it mega cheap and when ever i get chance i spend most of my time making it OEM+ Ive got it running spot on now, running on coilies which make it run on rails, but when the mrs drives it she says she has to wear her sports bra

Ive got soooo many pics of it, but heres a couple...more time to be spent this year (if i keep it) as im wanting to be driving a MINI again by end of the year

oh and a quick pic of my last mk2 which again i found in green in a farmers field...came on abit hey (just another classic dub saved me thinks)

Owned:Many MINIs, 88 Polo GT Highly Modded (FBC), 91 Polo G40 Highly Modded (PPP), 90 Mk2 Golf Driver Modified (LWR)
    NOW: 95 Mk3 Golf GTI 8v (KDD)
John Cooper Works, but mine works better

Well ive had once Classic Mini, thats gave me more scars than any car ive worked on haha, still was a nippy 1275 on a straight cut box

Thej i had the Polo G40 which was insane, was standard until it went to Jabbasport, ran a top end conversion pushing around 173bhp on the rolls (not bad for a 1.3) to which then got me involved with the newer MINIs....my first....

That then mad way for my next one which is where my company kinda started. This was standard for about 24 hours

I did have another but that was kinda my ex-partners MINI which im told i cant show but that was just as insance

and for those not in Europe wandering what a Polo G40 was....this was my last one... Standard Engine is a 1.3 OHC running a supercharger from the factory, once Jabbasport had finished it was about 173bhp (nbot bad for a tiny light weight car). I know of versions that run the M45 MINI charger that are over 200bhp these days...

Jealous doesn't begin to describe me right now

Is that classic the injected model before the new generation came along? Looks really clean

That Polo is madness, I miss insane little european cars, you pay a fortune for anything Euro here...

Welcome to the forum fellow North Easter!

If you have to ask people on an internet forum what you should do to your car, you should just leave it alone.
