  • Hello From San Francisco

Hello, been following the forum for quite a while now. Decided it was time to join. Looking to slam my '89 300CE into the floor. Been looking into...

Coilovers - Little to No Support for W124.

Shock and Spring - Need to cut springs to get as low as I want... can't find a good enough shock to take the beating.

Air Suspension... Expensive, no bracket support for W124.

I have used the SEARCH button many a time on this site, google and other mercedes forums, but no one seems to have a solid decent discussion on slamming these wonderful machines.

I daily my 300ce and I am so close to just hacking away at the stock springs. I did hear something about w210 springs being cut, but... it was brief and vague.

Thoughts and comments are all welcome! Thanks for having an awesome forum, one of the best online!

I have been looking into different manufacturers of air suspension. Does anyone want to refer me to a specific company that has decent pricing and good products? I have clicked a few of the links to the right, accuair, air lift, and bag riders to name a few, but I'd like to hear from actual members of the forum, what do you air riding mercedes guys use? Anyone currently have air suspension on their w124? Thanks guys.
