  • better late than never...

only just realised the other day, that I never really introduced myself here properly. And given high likely hood of becoming a forum whore (gotta dow something whilst i'm meant to be learning in class.. )

Anyways, I'm from australia and I like volkswagens. And anything with a good enough stance to make me turn my head!

Had a few cars, here the only ones really worth mentioning.

current daily. mk 3 tdi. will be running springs and work equips, soon. If I get bored, I'll put my LM's on it.

Here's the mk 2 with a VR6 swap, few more details and it'll be finsihed off.

And this is what I traded for the mk 2 (before I did the VR 6 conversion)

    79 GLD.

also had and old audi 80, a 76 2dr mk 1 golf, a 90 cabby, and I'm sure I'm missing something. recently picked up another 76 mk 1 golf that'll get a big resto & upgrade, one day.

    peace,
    J.D

p.s. sorry for the crap photo's, I swear I had better ones somewhere..

            cheers guys

Current 76er is a swallowtail, first one wasn't. Should be a pretty cool retro ride once it's done. But dont hold your breath, it'll be a while.

Funnily enough, I borrowed the coils for the mk 3 cause a few of us went away for a weekend of driving, and I wanted to test the FK's out. Need to swap them back soon, so I can 'finish' the mk 2.

Can't buy more coils for the mk 3 till I sell my cabby, so springs will do in the interim. Then I'm thinking about getting H&R U/lows, keeping in mind I want to do a couple track days this year, so need some quality as well as lows. (am I asking too much?? )
also can't decide what colour to paint the centres of the equips though?!

                    lols

                    Cheers Ox.

they be 05's. Silver centres would be boring, satin black looses the detail of the wheel, colour coded would be very euro but have terrible resale, and only look 'ok'. So i'm thinking a light charcoal/capacino or goldy browny colour. Have to grab my filler door and go to a paint shop and see what pops.
