I want the rim to poke. I wanted to put more rubber on the ground with at least a 205(with almost 400tq in a FWD car would help) but I want to poke. really bad
there are only a few tires in that size so Im prolly goin to roll with the Yokohama S.drive I like yoko's I have a set on my car now and they grip awesome so we will see then.

    I CAN"T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Another Update:

Well The wheels I have were Machined from Factory so they have little ridges on them. One of the wheels I got had a hefty scratch in it too so im Polishing them up so make them shine. Its gonna suck but I cant wait to get them done. I have to order tires but I think that if I get them without the rims being done Ill get crazy and put them on before I finish the rims. so Im trying to bust ass and get them done.

But are some recent pics of the car. YES YES YES I no I have to go lower. I have more room in the back to turn them down but in the front I am goin to get RX7 Camber plates and that will drop it close to an inch more. I CANT WAITTTT!!! haha

HAHA and this id my car wet. It would look good with some clearcoat haha. The black hood is a mess up on my part. So instead of having a Fucked up hood I sprayed it black.

THis is my fav angle. I just want to see some poking on the side. It will be so Dope.,

It really has a clean ass body. that one of the main reasons i bought it. I had to fix both rockers but you cant see them becuz of the plastics which is really nice. and paint will come in time. I like the flat but I would love to make her shine. in time though, in time.

                    Update.

Im working on the wheels getting them Polished up. They were machined so Im sanding all the little ridges out.
In the pic the two on the four are 80 and 180 sanded and the one on the table I think i was starting 180. Im goin to clear them too when im done. they are gonna shine

they are 97 mustang gt wheels.

My Update is that I am still sanding.......

320 grit. I have been slackin on them. New job.
But I do have a Question on the Rims though, I want to clear them when Im done And i was talking to my paint friend and it didnt dawn on me that 1500 or 2000grit wouldnt be the easiest to clear do to be smooth. He said 800grit or maybe 1000 would be the highest to go.
I figure you guys would no something about this. and does anyone have any pics of your rim with them being cleared?

                          thanks

I wouldn't clear those if I were you. Just do 800, 1200, and 1500 grit wet sand, then use some metal polish. The clear will dull the finish.
As for tires, s drives are real wide for a 205, you'll have no stretch and you'll rub bad if your low, 205 falken 512's stretch well on an 8 (better than any 195 you'll find), but your traction would probably suck with all that trq. Just my experiences, good luck.

Any pics by chance. I want a good stretch on and this is why I was goin to go with 195 on an 8.

but if you have good pic of the 512s on 8s i would love to see them.
