  • New here! need advice on E21 fitment!?

    I'm nik,this is my first bmw, it's a 320is just wanna do a cheap ground control/ xxr 002 setup.

My question is should i get the 15x8+0 or 15x9+0 in the rear? i already have some 195/50/15 tires. My only concern is that the 15x9 might hit my control arm or rear strut/spring? Also i don't wanna have to pull my fenders to the point of cracking paint...

    thanks for any info
    and shityy pic for

RIMTUCK only had 1 e21 picture and he had the 15x8's.... hmm the 15x9 would only have 1/2" more backspace

post up some info on the offset of the wheels ... I would go with the 9" wide ones

          full specs:
          320is
          koni struts all around
cut spring ATM but ground control this month

Rear wheel choice is between either 15x9+0 or 15x8+0????
I will be running 195/50/15 tires
I don't want to pull the fenders to much but id prefer the 9" just so i can get more stretch on the tire out back! Any E21 guys know how they well fit? or maybe pic reference?

My advice, don't put XXR's on your car.

                    found my new wheel choice!

ordering today!!! so any advice would be much appreciated!
sizes im looking at are 15x8+6.5(4.75 backspace) and 15x8-12(4.0 backspace)!!

should i run +6.5 all around?
or +6.5 fronts and -12's out back?

                      Agree

Id suggest trying to source some used wheels instead

I am of no help because I have pulled fenders.

but I run 8.5 and 9s. I have more room in the back but didn't want to buy new inners. 195/45/15 all around

the -12 would probably fit on the rear with just a roll of the fender. I have -12 on a 9 in the rear wtih a thin spacer on pulled fenders.

Aight i'll probably get the stagger setup then and i dont mind rolling or a slight pull,

Neek, did you have to notch your rear subframe or do any mods up front to go that low?

                            Just change control arms frequently

Ordered wheels! silver with a red pin stripe,
                              15x8+0
                              15x8-12

Hopefully cut springs can get me low enough to pull those sizes off!
