sup y'all! seen a lot of familiar SNs up in here... I'm Mike from the 808... slowly building a 1991 Toyota Previa 5-speed LSD in Hawaii.... bagged on UAS and aero'd by ORIGIN -- hope you like it! Aloha!

pulled the side windows earlier...

after 3 weeks in the shop... the sliding door is no more, the sliding guide/rail is gone, the outline of the sliding door has been welded shut and molded, the handles shaved and we've counted over 23 dings and dents on the passenger side alone... the fender wells have also been professionally cut and edges trimmed to allow for more aggressive wheel/tire fitment and up next is the primer and paint. the color is a single-stage BLACK with triple-stage clear on the lower panels to protect against rock chips and road debris at high-speeds, we'll see:









really, it's a factory 5-speed and solid-axle but a MKIII (???) or 88-90 MR-2 LSD?

good job... when i was in Honolulu back in may, saw you driving around downtown (before paint). asked yoshi about it and he said it was you...
and btw those arent yoshi's flares are they?

^^^ hey shawn! i know! i had to work that day so i missed the cruise! i work 2 jobs that's why.... anyways yeah, this is the 2nd bangbus, aero is by ORIGIN, widebody flares from ORIGIN too, it was made for an S13 so we took Yoshi's flares and graphed it and had it shaved to an exact copy of Yoshi's flares... my buddy Jase painted the van in his garage, all bodywork and paint done in-house so it's not the best, but it's a daily-driver/delivery van for parts and by no means a show-stopper or trailer-queen... and yeah, the 5-speed, clutch and LSD are all holding up pretty well at 167k miles... hope all is well in your neck of the woods, the GF and I was in Tacoma/Seattle in October and we drove up to Canada (Vancouver). next version of the Bangbus calls for new paint, new flares, new side vents and yes, I'll put on the JDM headlamps and grille (they've been sitting in my room for almost a year!!!!) got the tails too but just sooooo lazy!!!
