What's going on? No vw or audi here. Rocking a '94 Volvo 850 Turbo. Some modifications include a recent engine swap, auto to manual swap, NA cams, intake, exhaust, 19T turbo, some interior and exterior changes, run of the mill.

Here's what it looked like before:

And how it sits now, I know I don't have any stretch and poke, but the stanced scene is so minute amongst Volvos in the US. baby steps.






Since they don't make a true coilover for the rear, I cut the springs a little bit, however, now the rear rides horribly, so, these just came in, will put the car at about where it sits now, and once it settles, will take a coil or two off of these. I have about 1.5" left on the coilovers, so the front will be going down some too. Spacers are in the future also.

Thanks for the replies. I love this car too. It was the first car I ever drove, has been in my family for a really long time. I know, typical "get's mommy's and daddy's car", but this car is nothing like it was when it was mommy's and daddy's. lol.

It does sound really nice. I used to have a video, but that was before I did everything to it. I'll have to take another video. I can say though that one night after timing my cams in my parking garage I started it and revved it a couple times to make sure it sounded OK, and went for a ride around the block, and when I got back there was a cop waiting for me because someone called the police saying that my car was too loud. : :

IPD springs going in tonight. I'm going to cut one dead coil before they go in, premature coil cut. lol. Let them settle for a week or so, and then go from there.

With one coil cut. Going to let them settle first, and then probably cut one or two more. lol And then I'll lower the front some more.

Little update. Still trying to work out something for the rear to drop it lower. I have IPD springs with two coils cut. Thinking I might just go ahead and cut a third. Or put in some 9" coil springs. We'll see after Spring Break. But here's some pics:

Thanks. I bought a wagon that was going to be my project, but it made more sense to keep my sedan. Sometimes I still wish I had my wagon, but, I've grown to love the individuality of this car. Not to mention this car is a diplomatic import. (had the cloth interior that came with the diplomatic imports)
