  • New guy in VA with a...

Hi everyone! I'm Chris, and I'm in Northern VA. I'm the dyno tuner/performance tech at Moore Automotive in Fairax. So anyone on here in the area, stop by
I probably have the first (and I'm sure only) Oldsmobile on here, lol. Actually I have 3 '90-'91 Cutlass Calais International Series (I-series for short). They're my weird infatuation I guess you could say. None on them are "stanced" yet, but getting there. With so many projects going on things happen slowly to each one, lol. Anyways, here are some (crappy cell) pics.

Here's the daily, dropped with Intrax springs/KYB struts in the front (temporary for now), and custom made coil-over shocks in the rear, sitting on old 16x7 Jongbloed Type 1's

Here's the collection. The purple wheels will be going on the white one when I get it's suspension done. Then I got another set of gold Jongbloeds going on the black one. And finally I have a set of black 18" split 6-spokes going on the red one, and the Volks are going back on my Grand Am (yep, another oddball).

Here's my drag project, a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am GT. These are older pics (from '07), it's been in a slow rebuild process since, but it's finally coming together this year.

That's all for now. Oh, and loving all your cars I've seen on here so far!

I respect your creativity. I've never been to Moore Automotive (I usually go to PTuning or Mach V for my tuning needs), but maybe i'll swing by someday if i'm in the area.

lol, thanks guys! I'm all about doing something different. I know they're completely off the spectrum in terms of a vehicle to modify, but if you look up the racing history they did really well in SCCA and IMSA. I've really only gotten into these Olds in the past year or so, but I've been into the Quad4 engine for over 10 years now. But you guys got stanced out Volvos in here, why not an Oldsmobile? lol

Hinrichs: The turbo motor made 560whp/400tq @ 24psi before I tore it back down to upgrade farther (aiming for 800+ now). The N/A motor in the red one makes 210whp/166tq. And the black one's getting a built motor and mild turbo kit, aiming for 400-450hp.

Osshwa: Definitely come by and check us out, we have an AWD Dynojet. I tune most stand-alones, and reflash factory ecu's (on select models that we have tuning cables for). We usually hold a dyno day once every 6 weeks or so when it gets nice out. We actually had 2 back to back these past 2 weekends, one was for a group of Audi RS6's, and the other was for a few BMW forums. Hope to meet you in person one day!
