then i got smart, cut 3 coils off the rear and over 3 coils off the front. so my framerails/exhaust is about 2.5" from the ground.

Fixed.

Do it..... If you haven't already had the "pleasure" of changing out our pans. I made my own skidplate for free

I highly advise that route. I have 2.5" to the skid plate and my headers. Still a little pissed about them getting reduced in size all the time.

I am digging them. My friend Spencer has a gang of lights on his E21. It's in the shot on page 2. Your car reminds me of it in a more refined way.
