We do need more old school cars here.

    Gordo.
What carbs was that 8 valve running? I have CIS right now but wouldn't throwing some Weber twin 45's on it. They sound soo cool.

I live right in Ellington. When the weather warms up in spring there's usually a small meet at the Advance Auto parking lot in Vernon. Langan VW of Vernon is starting up some meets this year too. I wanna make the ride up to a few Broke Status meets this year, but right now i need to fix a wheel bearing and my tires are good for small drives.

Ya about 3 of my friends parents all have stories about them, and how much they loved them.

And the mileage is real, i have the bill of sale from the dealer and the original owners service book. The woman that owned it drove it only 3200 miles the first 2 years she owned it!
