Since you can never be apart of too many forums, I decided to join up on this one. Got sucked in by a few threads and figured I might as well join the community.

I've been through quite a few cars these past couple of years, most being Honda. I finally got a chance to sell and get into a different make of vehicle.

I bought into a 96 Volkswagen Jetta Trek. Being used and old, it came with it's fair share of problems. Most of which I'm still sorting out.

    The car:

Working on a few things that should be on the car by the end of next month.

    Wheels
    Shaved front bumper
    etc...

    Glad to be here.

Reminds me of the Jetta from the first Fast and the Furious .

        Has potential for sure.

I bought it pretty much stock, on 18in wheels and missing a 5th gear. It's getting closer to how I want it to look.

          As for the F&F comment... Sadly, I get/got that a lot. :\

The wheels I'm working on are the one's on my avatar. 16x7/8 et 22(ish) Work Equips

Looking forward to the progress, but what are the main kinks you have to sort out though? Might be better to get that tranny built back up before doing the wheels, I'm just saying.

I've already replaced the trans. I bought a "parts" car and pulled off a lot of what I needed. Still need to do brakes, bushings, tie rods, mounts, and few other small things.

I've had the the wheels since last September. They aren't really the top priority, but everything should be done by the end of this month.
