  • New Rotary Lover

What's up guys, my ride is not Stance Works worthy yet but coil overs and new wheels are in the works to get me proper. Right now I am dropped on Tein S -Techs running KYB shocks. She is a 2004 mazda RX-8 Touring that I have had the pleasure of owning for almost over 6 years and 120,000 miles She has many mods but I like to keep her clean and simple. Glad to be here, you guys have some sick rides.

This shot is before the Volks, running stock wheels and 25mm Eibach spacers.

Thanks for the comments guys, I am actually getting Bilstein coilovers and new wheels soon. What are your thoughts on 18x9.5 +40's? I know perfect on a RX-8 to still be able to drive hard is 18x9 +27-30 but the wheels I am looking at have never been done on a 8 before that i know of and the only sizes available are 18 x 8.5 +35 and 18 x 9.5 +40.

Def needs more low but looks like your off to a good start. If you do the 18x9.5 +40 you def wont be in the "wow" crowd of RX8s as there are some out there that are setting the bar very high.

Yeah my buddy is running 18x10 +18's. Crazy. I am going to see how I like the 18x9.5 +40's and then get spacers for the street. But I track my car occasionally so I don't want to go too crazy until I get a set of track wheels.

Like the new rims, seen them on E46s before but never anything else.

Thanks man, I love them much better than the Volks actually.

Thanks, I had to have them drilled to 5 x 114.3. They are 18 x 9.5 +40. I could have gone with a +20 but i was too scared  I have 10mm spacers ready to go on when I install the coil overs. It will sit pretty legit once that happens. I like the option of being able to remove the spacers for track duty.

Updated pics with 10mm less offset thanks to some 10mm Project Kics and Ichiba spacers Turbo kit is coming together nicely just waiting on a few things.

Took some quick pics before I have a chance to lower it more.

Thanks. I do miss my Volks though, the guy I sold them too wrecked the car a week after he put them on so they are gone now

I will do coil overs after the turbo is done, but the Teins S Tech springs and KYB shocks are new so they will have to suffice until then.
