woah blimey, cheers dude. Im honestly surprised how well this has gone down. all my mates took the pee cos its not a 330 sport etc and its got 4 doors and basic trim, but that wasnt the point in this car. i want the focus to be purely on the stance, and it seems a lot of people are getting it! so well pleased

e46Getta, definitely go bags! it was the best choice i made and cant imagine being static again. i still drive it slammed, but when roads get a bit nutty i just pop it up a bit. Also it takes the stress out of early morning commuting in a static slammed car. In the morning when you get that feeling you'd be better off with a 'normal' car, you can just run it high no worries, then later have a slammed chill drive home when your more awake haha

im going to start a build thread in the builds section here with a couple more photos i took today, including one set at my driving height as some people have been asking how low/high to a drive it

god fucking damn, get out of my head. i wanted those wheels, i wanted that color, and i wanted to be that low.

honestly, i can say that yours is my favorite e46 i've ever seen. it's everything i wanted mine to be.

Love the car and how low it sits!

I agree with going down to the 17's. I was previously running 18's but it didn't look right from the rear; car was still sitting pretty high. SO I went down to 17's, which brought it down to close to where I wanted it. I still need to play around with the coils up front. I've already taken out the helpers and perches but I'm still not as low as I would like it be. I might have to chop the coils on these KW's, or go the bagged route!

Got Splits? did you just add me on FB? nice static man

Rally im running 195/40s on 8s, and 205/40s on 9s. ideally i want switch up the fronts to 205s when i get my new wheels as theyre pretty small

Satnam it was under 2700 but that was while they were offering cheap fitting in their first year of business, so you would have to give them a ring as now there introductory year is over theyre prices have gone up to normal.
Prices will vary a fair bit as you can spec your kit however you like
for instance i dropped 4-way for 2-way, and with the money i saved i got a bigger tank and an extra compressor. Also 2-way allowed me to have remote key fobs too which are awesome!
Geoff at Havair will explain more, the options and specs are endless, you can go real basic, middle of the road, bit higher, or all out, they can do whatever you like

well it was Havair down in Hastings who provided all the kit and did the fitting. they supplied custom Havair struts and top mounts, all the viair compressors, tank and gauge. As far as i am aware they are the only place in the UK who could do this work for me without using a generic bolt on kit or without using a bag over coilover set-up, both of which i wasnt happy using as they probably wouldnt have given me the drop i wanted, so give them a call, just search for Havair on google, proper sound guys

Nice one Rich, i guess minus any local shows it will be DC10? unless there are any other BM/all German/Stance shows going on?

Nice one mate will defo give them a tinkle and mention yourself. What sort of costs was is for supplied and fit?

Also theres a fair few beemer shows like the gaydon bmw show and santa pod bmw fest.. and bimmerfest so theres a few shows to look out for in 2011.. join up to evotechnik.com its a uk based modified bmw forum.
