Hey guys. New here , found my way here from link to link and saw some badass waterpumpers and just had to check it out. To say the least every ride here is just super sick! Anyways , Im an aircooled guy. I have a 1969 Karmann Ghia im simpetheticly restoring and dropping on the ground. Nothing fancy and far from anything worthy but i love it.
Ive been in most every scene. Ive had a Mazds B2200 minitruck , was big into Mazda imports for a long while as i has a 88 RX7 AE TII and a few Ford Probe GT's. To top it off i work at an Italian classic car restoration shop where we restore vintage Ferrari , Alfa Romeos and the such.
Anyways , this seems like a truly badass forum so im going to stick around
    Here my Ghia

haha I know how that goes. Either way, Ive been looking for a clean 10th for the passed year. they are almost impossible to find in good shape, reasonable miles and unmolested. Found one last week, but i think it was around $9k. too rich for my blood at this moment

yeah man. Good examples are very expensive. Few more years and they will be more then FDs. I bought mine before the whole fast and the furious craze. It ran like shit because the exhaust was all clogged up and had a ratty interior. Traded a Olds Cutalss for it lol. Few days of cleaning it out and it ran like a champ. Back then the only people buying RX7s were people who know something about rotaries and not because they were "cool"
I wanted to restore it back to OEM because of its rarity but never got around with all my projects..errr... moneypits....

Ive tossing the idea around of finding a 78-79 first gen and putting a carbed 13-B in it (like an 82)
