  • New here, Static SVT focus

Hello, I am very interested in going lower. I hope this is the place to learn how.

I am currently running a set of H&R coilovers.

In these pics, 225/40/17 Bridgestone Potenza on rolling Stock 17x7 five spokes painted black.

I want to go lower, but the back is bottomed out. Next I am removing the rear perches and isolators.

    My current setup is...

Falken Azenis 225/45/17. On body matched EAP 17x7.

Removing the perches and cutting 2 dead coils out of the rear springs will get it down some more and your fronts should definitely be able to be spun down quite a bit more. The height of those 225/45s isn't helping either, a 215/45 is tall enough as it is, but you are probably running those Azenis for the handling benefits.

Nice Fofo. Did you paint your Machs yourself? I need to get off my ass and black mine out.

Yeah, my fronts are up 11cm from bottom. I am running that tire size to see how I liked the Azenis and the set up now handles like a go kart. Too much fun.

I did paint them myself. It only took me about 6 months to do it too. Part busy/part not knowing what I was doing.

Here is a better pic of the lights no glare. and my badgeless grill.

What would cutting 2 dead coils do to the handling of the car?

probably not much, theyre dead coils. theyre really only there to help with ride height. afaik. i could be wrong.
