  • This may be where I belong.

I would like to first of all say that I am a huge fan of Mike B's work, and that I am glad to have found this forum.
I love cars but I am not a BMW snob, as most of the other forums seem to have that tendancy.

I hope to find here help and support for my latest project. It is a 1984 E28 that was purchased on ebay for $600 and cost me that much to get it from Cali up to B.C.
The Euro 1981 E28 that rusted in half is the donor for all of the good bits (euro bumpers, signals and 265 trans). The engine was a 3.3L...not good enough. A 1994 Northstar V8 was given to me and it in and under the hood....so, the project is begining to snowball. The V8 pan was cut down to fit the engine back far enough. The steering box will be in the way of the exhaust , so the variable assist rack from a cadillac sts will take its place. The Transmission to engine adapters where very difficult so a opted to set the trans at the back, just in front of the diff. The interior is a blend of e46 m3 fronts and e34 split rear seats. In the end I hope to have it masked as an Alpina , just to poke the BMW snobs a bit more.
Well, there it is. I am still at the begining stages of many parts of this project and look forward to reading all that has been done to all of your cars, as well as the help I may receive from all of you.
