Welcome to the site. As mike said, browse the forum and other forums online and get accustomed to what your goal is for your car.

Don't even waste time buying reps; just save more of your money and get some real wheels. Drive at least a year to you get used to parking your car and just be sure to park way from curbs

While I agree that real wheels are worth a little savings and searching, this site certainly isn't about anything other than enthusiasm for low cars, no matter which way you do it.
Good luck man, get that car and get your stance on.

This is a great place to learn about wheels and to help you find the right look. Also look into forums for the specific car you are getting since they can lead you to the best vendors. From my experience you get the best parts from a company that specializes in your make/model. Giant, mass producing companies often times overlook the details... you may save $$ on the front end, but poor fit and finish will cost you in the long run.

The best advice I can give you is TAKE YOUR TIME. I can't tell you how much $$ I've wasted on cars because I jumped the gun on mods (ask me about my fake wheels). Visualize your goal, make a plan, and then start buying.
                  Will design/build websites for wheels

                      First off, Welcome to Stanceworks!

Out of your options I would say any of them would be a good choice. Personally, if I could go back I would get a 350z, currently I own a GTI (MKV) but it's not because it's a bad car, probably just the fact I would like to change it up . Take your time and browse the site, if there are a few tips I can personally give you then here they are; No aftermarket tail lights (unless it's OEM japanese or euro), no black wheels, get coilovers instead of springs it will be better in the long run, and keep away from eBay parts. Personally if I did a Nissan 350z I would just put in a lot of JDM parts and probably BBS wheels, but that's my kind of taste. Don't let people on the forum get you down; if they say you're asking a dumb question then search it, if it doesn't come up, then it can't be that dumb of a question. Feel free to contact me on AIM or anything if you want any advice or anything, I'm a mod on the board too, as well at the IT guy for Stanceworks.
                      Greets,

Thanks yeah ive learned about the coils instead of the spring and ill definitely hit you up if i have any questions about anything. But yeah 350z is what i really want but i think i have equal chance of either getting that or a 2003ish 20th anniversary gti. It all really depends on what i can find around the time i get my license which is in may. i will probaly start to look hard to cars around april or march.
