Thanks!! I drive all of them....and hard when i do. I cycle through them and also have them on battery tenders but i try to not let anything sit for too long. Right now not all of them are running but i do enjoy driving them....Originally posted by mr_cerberus View Postnice collection fella.that rock's nice to see someone looking after some rare metal, especially state side for the 5 and the lancia. So how do you get around to driving all these cars?
Andy
Here am I taking the R5 for the first time....thats me behind the wheel...I learned that day the car starved for oil on hard lefts

I've always loved the Lancia, anything from Lancia up to the early 90's was sheer class and loaded with iIalian passion, the Stratos is still in my top 10 all time gorgeous designs.
You're a very fortunate individual to be monstering two World Rally homologation specials whenever the need arises, Group B as well, bastard! So much envy on this end
What's your view on the Fiat 131 Mirafiori which superseded the Lancia in World Rally domination during the mid-70's? It had the stonking 2.0 twincam engine (your engine's grandpa
) and RWD? Always been my favourite old-school rally car.
It's faily obvious that you're a petrolhead of note. I can only wish...

The Aliitalia cars!! It was a great little car, especially in the late 70's when it was dominating, the street version had that funky steering wheel that went off to one side. Crazy thing is those cars the homologated ones are selling for much more money than the Lancia and Renault....I remember seeing one go for sale for something like 60K!!! But styling wise i don't think the car had the beauty of the other killer b's, it was very soviet block even though it was italian. If funds were endless and space was vast I would collect them all and open a museum, they need to be cared for properly and driven still. Cars are not meant to sit and languish in a suspended state.Originally posted by dubtruk36 View PostI've always loved the Lancia, anything from Lancia up to the early 90's was sheer class and loaded with iIalian passion, the Stratos is still in my top 10 all time gorgeous designs.
