What's up? My name is Ben, and this is my '97 aluminum silver a4.

It will be getting a stance overhaul over the winter and next spring once I figure out a solution to the upper control arm problem.

    Anyways, thanks for looking.

Thamks. I know I need a more proper stance. I recently became unemployed, so as soon as I have a steady income a more proper stance will be achieved.

On the B5 chassis, the front upper control arms start smashing into the wheel well. I have seen guys cut out around them in the engine bay to allow them more travel but, I would rather do something that doesn't involve hacking up my engine bay. So as it sits, it is about as low as it will go without creating little mountains around my strut caps. I am working on fabbing up a way to accomplish going lower and my car intact.

It really sucks too. I am about to start making some money again. Maybe by spring I will have everything to make up a proper stance.
