Hey guys! My name is Drew and I've owned my Element for about 3 years now and I came across a great deal on a set of coilovers so I decided to take the plunge and began modifying just a few weeks ago, haha. I'm starting to get back into posting on forums and such, now that the professional drift season is over I have a bit more time to myself.

The Element started out as just a reliable daily driver when I turned 18, I figured I had enough cash to buy a car outright and I found my SC for 21k and got them down a couple grand. My previous cars were nothing to write home about, just good enough to get me around and help me get all of my stupid driving and mistakes out of the way so when I put my big boy pants on I wouldn't mess the new one up. The Element got wheels immediately, I must have only put on 1,000 miles on it before I found some wheels I liked. Sadly the MRR's were switched out for new wheels the minute I had to put a new set of tires on it after I had worn the old ones down.

I was left with the decision to put on my stock 18's, or find something WAY different. After some research, I found out 15x8 Cragars would fit. I thought it would be a totally different look, so I went for it. It felt good buying the wheels and tires, and still spending 300 dollars less than I would have on 4 tires for the MRR's.

Then, I was out in Sonoma covering Formula D for my website (OMGDrift.com) and I came across a killer deal on a set of Ksports that were practically brand new. I made a few calls, and they were mine.

Overall, I like the stance of it. The front and side shots make it look like there's a drop, but you can't tell at all in the rear. Kind of a bummer! I also want some real wheels, but that will also come in due time! I want to go way lower, but I need to cut my fenders before I can go any lower, the rear springs that come with the Ksports Coilovers are terrible and soft, so the rear rubs on every little bump and dip. Bad news bears!
