  • 1982 Ford Fiesta - UK

Browsed for a while, time to register. Car is a 1982 Mk1 Fiesta.

    As purchased:

    Now:

I'm kind of liking the rake, although it would be nice for the back to be lower, front tyres are just off rubbing, needs stretch. Lowest point of car is exhaust/engine cradle so that's what needs sorting if going lower.

Not to everyone's taste but it's something a bit different for you.

You are my hero! I was going to get one of these!

Super low and mad stretch would be fun!

haven't tried running without bumps, fronts probably have another 5 imches of adjustment left on coilovers anyway. rears might get some spring helpers, class this as a work in progress

Sorry, forgot to answer you , just the standard 1.1 engine, but it's quick enough for a daily to the other side of town to work.

Cheers, I'll be looking at getting the back down soon and maybe rearranging the exhaust as it hangs pretty low

Just for a point, my exhaust hangs like:

and we have some pretty high (read: technically illegal) speedbumps around here, although I do have another route to work that would dodge all those when I go lower. Need some engine mounts, so that'll probably be hockey puck style risers, which should gain me a bit, the rest will be altering the standard brackets
