New member here, I've been lurkin around for a long time and figured I'd finally join up since this forum is just full of win.
I'm originally from MN but am going to college right now in Fort collins, CO. I own a '98 VW Passat 1.8T. Love it to death and it's come a long way from the beginning days.
A brief mod list:
Performance:
APR chip
Intake
Short shifter
2.5" downpipe
Engine Bay:
Tucked/rerouted every wire possible without doing an pull of the motor
Deleted tons of systems (evap, pcv, etc..)
Fully polished (valve cover, oil return line, fuel rail, fpr, intake manifold, throttle body)
Black painted parts everywhere
Interior:
Alpine deck
Alpine 12" type-r w/ hifonics amp
Steering column boost gauge
Jetta GLI Instrument cluster swap
Exterior:
Badgeless grill
DEPO projectors w/ 6000k HIDs, amber city lights
Front end/roof respray
Wheels/Suspension:
V-maxx coilovers
BBS RS
17x8.5 et25 205/45 falken 512
17x9 et15 215/45 falken 512
That's about it. For now, yes they are small lips but no college student is able to drop $3k on wheels out of no where and call it a deal. Bigger lips will be next year along with some other stuff.
I am doing a legit shoot with a good photographer within the next couple weeks. Look out for the pics soon!
