Yeh because you know every road in britain.
I came across this situation on wednesday, didnt know the road and couldnt turn round because of traffic, so I ended up doing 'A' but had to end up in the opposite lane, couldve done 'B' but wouldve had to start in opposite lane. Both options are the same clearance wise, just depends on traffic I guess, and if all else fails put your hazards on and flash like a motherfucker, that'll scare them into letting you do your thing
And for me I do know the roads I'll be driving, google maps street view for the slow tedious speedbumpless win.
