    Quick update.

Centers are getting powder coated this week, wheels will be rebuilt and have tyres by the end of this week.

It seems the air struts won't be here this week and I'll be expecting them early to mid next week. As soon as they arrive they'll be installed as everything else will be done and waiting for them.

Rainy nights painting barrels is pretty good. The wheels should look awesome. I can't wait!

      Barrels have been painted black.

Sorry for Instagram photo! (Instagram: SebastienPeek).

Calling up powder coater place today, hopefully getting them back tomorrow.
Then starts the rebuilding. Weather here is pretty shitty, it's basically Winter now, so lots of cold nights playing with cars. My favourite!

Here's one from the test fitting of the RS's from the front.

          IMG_0009 by sebastienpeek, on Flickr

Have ordered some brass to go with the water traps and so forth to make sure that there is no water going into my valve manifold. I still haven't had a chance to check all the fittings, but I'll get out there on Saturday and make sure it is all fixed.

          Until then.

Thanks man, I loved Zelda too, wish I could get another one and do it even better... Maybe one day!

Tyres will be 205/45/16's all around.

Yep, I figured I'm still with a boxer engine, so the Subaru is really just a cousin of Zelda...
Just can't wait until I get everything and it is all in.

In other news, air struts won't get here till the end of the month according to BagRiders. No problem there. Picking up centers today/tomorrow depending on when I get le phone call from the powder coaters. Either way, soon the wheels will be built and sealed, waiting to go on with the new struts and so forth when they arrive.

                I am of the excite.

can't say I'm a fan of those style wheels on the GC8 though.

Nope, it is an NA car so the hood scoop was basically an ornament.

Everyone seems to do the same wheels on GC8's.
But hey, I'm a fan of the wheels and it is my car, so that's what is going on her.
They're wide, they'll sit perfectly, and when I air out it'll be jizz worthy.

In other news, hopefully picking up wheel centers today.

                        I wasn't trying to ****.

I like the wheels, and I respect the decision, just was saying my thoughts cuz I own a GC8 myself.
I do agree that everyone does do the same wheels pretty much..but its cuz they look so good, whats not broke don't fix, etc.

Again, not trying to ****. I did say I like the car. Not sure whats up with the eye rolling

                          It's all good mate.
I don't want XD9's or TE37's, I like breaking the mould as much as possible, as always.
                          Meh.

Regardless, have almost finished the new false floor. Have raised it only by 12mm, plus the 12mm of the MDF itself. I'm going to just get a space saver instead of the full size that's currently in the boot.

Either way, false floor needs a piano hinge and then carpet it and the boots done.
Will get some photos up of current progress so far in the coming days.
                          Weekend means car stuff!

Boot install has been finished off. Hinged for access to spare wheel.

Oh, and the wiring, well, it looks pretty full on. But it works and now I'm just waiting for the struts and then I can run the hoses.

Also have the gauge holder thingy that goes underneath the head unity for when I run the hoses to the gauges and so forth. So much to do still.
