Btw... I think i might get an early 2000s 3-series with a manual soon
Dude i already have driving stick down I've taken it out for about an hour or two every day since i bought it just to practice and i think i'm good. I still get realllyyyy nervous on hills though
Alrighty guys so i was doing some poking around and it looks like my car's exhaust actually isn't stock. It looks stock but i saw a faded company mark on the muffler and it turns out this car has an MRT Performance Exhaust system on it. (Part Number SUWE031TB) And straight from the manufacturer in Australia it's $900. I'm feeling pretty good about this right now
Then find out that your clutch has a big ol' burnt spot on it as the cabin fills up with gross clutch smoke. And then the shitbox AE86 you're driving starts slowly rolling backwards down Dravus St.

Alright so i went through my entire interior (Except for the Hatch Area) and cleaned and addressed whatever needed addressing.
First is a pic of my workspace.... it was pretty nice but i was still really hot the entire time
The first thing i found was the "Rats Nest".... turns out the previous owner was running a hugeeee stereo system in this rex.
I ended up zip tying it all together and stuffing it under the carpet... i may end up using some of the wire for a more moderate setup later on.
My drivers seat had the infamous bracket rust, so i wire brushed all the rust off, primed it then painted it. Also the bar down there had a ton of surface rust so i just decided to wrap it in carbon fiber because i was too lazy to scrub it off and paint it.
I finished after about 3 hours or so of hand scrubbing dog hair and general nastiness from the carpets and the seats. Somehow they managed to get dog hair behind the foot pedals.... well i hope it was dog hair...
Also during the process i dropped the seat on my finger and just wrecked my nail...
Also here's an engine bay pic.. just cuz. Needs a lot of cleaning.
At least the car isclean tho. I should really do the same thing, Especially to my engine bay cause that has 190k miles of dirt in there
true
also pls do. I need to too. Mine has about 109k of dirt and weird brown stuff

What kind of wheels u have planned for it?
yeah i didn't even care because it drove so well. Then i got annoyed and just had to clean it
Also i'm thinking about buying BC coils.. (I'm close to having enough cash) then maybe buy some 16x10 +12 Diamond Steelies just as some cheap wheels that look half way good till i can maybe import some from Japan. I'm not all too sure yet though.
For reference, Bugeye wrx wagon on Diamond Steelies
