    Default Clean E34 project

    Hey guys,

Let me introduce my new project, it's a 525i automatic E34 (1991), calypsorot metallic, with white leather interior... It has only 78000km and is in a really really good shape !
    Not many options but anyway...

    S209 Differential lock 25%
    S302 Alarm system
    S401 Lift-up-and-slide-back sunroof, electric
    S411 Window lifts,electric,front/rear
S428 Warning triangle and first aid kit
    S510 Headlight vertical aim control
    S520 Fog lights
    L801 National version Germany/Austria

Here are some pictures when I bought it, on november :

Then, I found a set of staggered 18" MK Motorsports... Bought them, did the polishing of the dish by myself...

Did a lot of researches on how to lower it... Bought some coilovers, some short shocks from a Quattro oldie... Did a lot of cutting, welding, testing... Sent the rims to the paint work shop...

    And there's the actual result

I'll order some original caps for the wheels from MK Motorsport tomorrow

Let me know what do you think guys !

    Cheers

Thank you guys, glad to see you like it ! I love the look of the rear with the spoiler, it's OEM and it fits well I think... Quite original too don't you think ?

Very nice e34 and great stance! This one confirms me 99% of e34s may go throug headliners repair, that also includes mine. Let you know you are not the only automatic transmission still alive.... but recommend you take care of its manteinance if you dont want it to let you hanging out. Keep up updating the progress on this nice lady!

    Thanks mate !!!

I already have my bunch of transmission problems... But I think it's more electrical than mechanical, I'll end to find where's the problem one day or another !

Here is a little package I received today :

Polishing pads from Lake Country + Chemical Guys Wheel Guard... Will use the pads with 3M products ! Hope to find some time to do the polishing soon !

Thanks mate, have you got a link to your ex-E34 thread, of course if there's a thread ?

Everyone don't hesitate to post links to your E34 threads, I love to see what you're all doing

Here are some other pictures with the headliner and the rear shelf on the car... Not really satisfied with the result of the rear shelf as you can see but anyway... It's still better than it was !

Oh same happened with my rear shelf. Its not an easy one. I ended sending it to a professional. The headliner looks perfect now.
Not a fan of aftermarket steering wheels on bmws but I recognise I like this one, it has this kind of oem look some how similar to mtech1 so I actually really like it, well done.

Any plans on exhaust system modification? Some mufller delete and syde pipe exit like Ricsi w124 would be so sexy there

That's maybe what will happen... At the moment it'll stay like this, it's still better than it was and will do the trick for now... Thanks for your nice comment on the wheel, I actually love Nardi's and especially this one...

Yes of course, the exit like the W124 posted yesterday is exactly what I'm looking for... Let's hear that straight 6 LOUD !

Yes the seats are nearly mint, I need to clean and feed the leather but it's kinda rainy these days in France...

I've always really disliked MK Motorsports, but those look awesome! I think the darker centre really helps. Looks great man

    This!

I feel like you could space the rear wheels a bit to sit flush, would look ace!
