    Hi S/W,
Some of you may remember my recent project:

When I still owned the car there was a big need for something else; an old BMW or a Benz.
So I sold the Jetta to fund another car. I never expected that the car goes this fast, it took me about one month and it was gone for good money.

Another month later I found this W126 with 188xxx km for a dime with only one owner before me and in a very good condition. More important: In original condition! The color wasn't the first choice but whatever. However, the olive green interior is a real eyecatcher and the whole car is clean af for its 33 years. So I bought it immediately. Here you go:

    Plans?
    Of course

    - Custom rear number plate mount
    - Oil change/inspection done
    - Fix some stuff
F.e. rear electric window passenger side and clock in the dashboard doesn't work
    - New front brakes (already have the parts)
    - Give love to
Chrome trims, interior, paint, underfloor, rust prevention..
    - Details
Chrome side mirrors (?), Nardi, engine..
    - Get low
    - Poke some wheels
    - Tuck some wheels
    ..more will occur for sure

    Till next time

It's green cloth! Will make some pics of the interior next time.

I already picked up a set in 17 inch a few weeks ago near the czech border. This will be the poke setup.

Did a quick test fit the other day

I'm going for another set to slam the Benz to the ground, I think I'll go with 17s too.

          Cheers!

Took some photos of the interior today, it's officially known as "056 olive green (cloth)". Will give the whole car a good clean-up in spring.
Probably will order a Nardi soon even though I really like the look of the original steering wheel.

                        Hi!

Today I picked up a set of Futuras and did a quick test fit

Bags are in production and will be ready to install in about 2 months.

The Futuras were assembled wrong by the previous owner so I had to split two of them.

The plans changed anyway, 18s on the way

Currently the Merc has some issues to be sorted and is in my buddies shop, proper update with pics soon.

17s would be perfect on a W126 with some meatier tire imo. But as I read from Instagram, all the barrels and lips were wrongly sized?

                              I keep both sets

Two were assembled correctly, on the remaining two the inner barrels were confounded; they were 9J and 9.5J wide instead 8.5J and 10J. I still have to seal them up and torque them down. Maybe I'll use them as my daily setup.
