Just shook hands with my buddy today on this E30. It still needs buffing, trim put back on, and a few other odds and ends before it's mine, but I'll have it in a couple days.
My mind is already spinning with plans...

I was about to go look at an E30 with an M50 swap, but a high school friend told me he was about to finish up this E30 and put it up for sale.

Car looks and sounds beautiful! Great job man. Subbed.

I can't take credit for anything yet, I bought the car from an old high school friend, and I'm picking it up tomorrow. He heard I was in the market for an E30 and was just finishing this one up to sell so he can fund his Turbo M50 E30 M3 Clone Race Car Project...
But don't think that I'll just let it sit as it is; there's still a lot of small details that I need to take care of. And a lot of wheel options to go through...
The car is going to be mostly my daily driver, so the winter will be fairly boring in this thread, but I'll keep it updated while I collect parts.
Snow tires on bottle caps!
More exciting things later, I promise...
not mint, but not bad..

I'm gonna bring it to a shop to look at before I start daily driving it. My buddy got the car to maybe to 90% reliable, and I just trust a shop more than myself to know how to fix a few little, but specialized, things. ...I do know my way around a shop, but more as a go-fer than a mechanic.
Gonna be watching this one!
Great job so far
Yes!!! Pure awesome. Will be watching![]()
front lip delivered.
Had to order a new gas tank. I'll need a rear subframe soon too.
New gas tank stipped, epoxy primered, and under coated

So, this happened...
and thus...
bottlecaps...
However, I did get a chance to take out the antenna, so that's a plus.
There are a few maintenance items to check off, but I think this is how this car will look until the spring when I hopefully have some funds to do some major upgrades... I may do some minor things in the meantime, but nothing that changes the appearance. I also really want to try and get the 2002 on the road, so my attention may go to that a bit.
