  • Porsche 911 RSi by Things Work

    kinda project.
Hope it won`t too boring for you gents. The idea is to make a budget low and cool Porsche car using as the inspiration Nakai san of RWB and Magnus Wolkers energy. Turbo wide, pretty rims etc.
    Here we go.
Some time (nearly a year ago) I have bought a 911. Porsche 911 SC to be exact.
Because of the price it was quite a slant nose converted from a classic 911. She had massive tyres, old school Fuchs rims and off road ride height.

Using an old school technique (cutting springs you know)

I have lowered her to something that would remind me of a proper stance (sorry for using this word. guilty as charged)

    Should I continue?

Ok, since I had a set of pretty damn good wheels for my Passat B5 that is sold now, I have decided that they should be on Porsche while I`m saving for some cool Porsche wheels.
So, 9,5 and 11 x18 ABT A10 by OZ Racing, 3 pcs you know

with some spacers and adapters from 5x130 to 5x112 I had 65 mm of aluminium on a wheel
This gave me a starting point how wide I could go with new wheels

So, basically with ABTs on her she was like this

and she is not a Turbo. It`s just a replica.
btw, those ABT`s are for sale, fully sick set you know

hey man nice slantnose. I just picked up a '77 911sc and wanted to bring the car lower to the ground. I understand how the front suspension works but what did you do in the back to lower it?
