My dryflow filter arrived for my q45. I ordered a custom size on the AEM website to replace the oil/pleat filter. I got tired of washing and oiling it, so I got this bad boy. whipped out the tape measure and went to the site and found something bigger, flows more, and better filtration than my origonal filter. very happy I never have to oil the thing again, just rinse off with water and dry it.

So I finally got around to testing this beast at autocross. I was faster than over half the field, beating miata's. civic's and many other cars with more power and less weight. I feel confident for this weekend at Ultimate Street Car. If you wish to see this beast in action, come out this Saturday or Sunday at Auto Club Speedway.

Installed a MOMO steering wheel with s13 adaptor and nrg quick release. Steering cancel and buttons no longer work.

Well considering 90% of this forum is E36s, Benzes, Lexuses or Hondas it's really cool to see somebody taking not only a reall uncommon car but doing something really uncommon for that type of car.

If you had told me that somebody was building a track/autoX car out of a full size Infiniti, I would tell you that they're crazy.

I'm not saying you're not crazy, but it's a good crazy. There's probably a ton better platforms than this but at the end of the day you'll be the only Q45 out on track I reckon.


Also sucks about no longer cancelling, when I had my OMP hub in my old Volvo it still cancelled the blinker but I don't know how the MOMOs are designed.
