t's been a while since I've updated this thread. So here we go.

Car hasn't moved in months as I don't know how much longer the TOB has before it completely lets go.

There are three of us working on the car, me and the two guys that built this monster
    https://www.redbull.com/int-en/episo...-forte-s01-e02

    Parts acquired for the build:

    996.2 6 speed with LSD

Turbos (that cost more than a nice LS)

    Noise makers

    One-off throttle body

Not pictured: engine fuel system, wiring harness, stand alone ECU, etc.

Finalizing the remainder of parts that need to be sourced or fabricated without the car, then we get to dig into the DMC.

I'll put more up when that time comes, but there is a bulkhead fitting for the wiring.

Played around with the rheostat to find out it was dead. Now all interior lights work. Unfortunately the radio didn't power on, so I pulled it and Steve at OMD checked it, radio is dead. Good news, it's not the car.

Soooooo...... I had a literal shit ton of fun and went 80's radio shopping. Ended up with this

That's awesome, I love vintage car audio, especially Alpine stuff.

    Small update:

Shifter linkage and shifter box have arrived

Custom intake manifold and fuel rails are nearly complete. It's a shame that the one-off single piece fuel rails with fittings will not be seen.

The DMC came without a driver mirror element, easy replacement. But then it really showed how aged the passenger mirror was. Pulled the original off and ordered a new OEM mirror element, boom. Brand new and objects in the mirror are not closer than they appear. Woah.

    Onto something slightly more interesting.

    The intake manifold is complete.

Damn that intake manifold came out perfect. Looks oem. Shame you cant see the awesomeness inside of it.
