So, this is the place we will be working on for this post. This, and the EGR system.
Dpf by mgpdoc, on Flickr
Here's an idea of the crap that goes inside your inlet on a diesel car with just 28k miles on the clock. Sad is it not ?

After A LOT of fiddling and swearing, the downpipe came off
Dpf by mgpdoc, on Flickr
Not in piece sadly as for this to happen probably all the subframe would have to come off so ef it.

This is the part where we had clearance issues. Downpipe touched the steering rack. Ofcourse, once again, bolt on fitment wasnt the case
Dpf by mgpdoc, on Flickr
So out again to modify it
Reshaped it and it was great afterwards
Dpf by mgpdoc, on Flickr
Matching bolts as promised
Dpf by mgpdoc, on Flickr
Sensor on
Dpf by mgpdoc, on Flickr
These however had to be left plugged and tucked in place, cause the car cannot work without them. Even after the ecu remap. Will see if maybe at a later version.

This map sensor of the DPF was removed though

Then i decided to remove the complete EGR assembly as it was no longer used, to save weight and clean the engine bay even more
Oil return line has to be removed
Egr and boost pipe removal by mgpdoc, on Flickr
And you have to make a U-joint for the water pipes that run to the coolant radiator of the EGR which is also removed. Luckily i had the U-joint from the A4 hehe

Blocked this hole as well

And this is what was removed

Then, we remapped the car, it made another 10hp but we havent finished yet, will get back to you with more results once we fine tune it

Big shoutout to etuners greece, and Stelios Alexandrakis in particular.
Cheers
More to come

So, truth be told i was pushing my luck somewhat

Got pulled out by a family car, but not without my pride and my car being hurt as well. AC radiator got pushed by the bad Darkside IC installation probably, and also, wheels were scratched from the rocks at the beach.
Had no Ac for the next days, and scratched wheels, oh well

First AC radiator replacement, and new mounting points and brackets for the IC, properly this time, and not like my half-ass job on a bad product

All done and I love how the new BEHR Ac Radiator is silver instead of black

Do these wheels make it look like a Renault or is it just me

I also ordered this Powerflex mount - Diesel Specific - To reduce engine movement which was getting frustrating especially after the track visit.
It increased vibration, but reduced movement like it should
Powerflex by mgpdoc, on Flickr
Oem

And then wheels were ready
I opted for a change to see how it would look. I normally like to keep my cars in a two tone theme. And this is no exception, it was red and black.
However, i thought I'd give it a go on something rather different.
So. . .

Another thing i ordered is some proper Recaro Subframe seatmounts for my car, since the ones i had were Recaro again, but for an Audi R8 it seems.

Installing the mounts is a bit tricky. You need to unbolt some framing off the oem seats, and u use it in between the chassis and the Recaro frames. As always pics will do the talking. I used completely new hardware everywhere and blue loctite to be safe like i have done in the past in my other cars
Part from oem seat needed, practically the slider
