Those are my friend's bbs, he have them on smart cabriolet with 195 tires

20" HRE's, very bad guality aluminium, make "holes" when polishing...



Some 20" forged wheels, outer lips were best quality what i've seen!

The "holes" that appear are due to the porosity of the metal. Gas is trapped in the alloy. There are processes/techniques that reduce this, but they are done during the manufacturing.
Once you have the finished product, there is no way to eliminate the holes. You could try aluminum solder(Durafix, Alumalloy, etc) and polish over that.
