  • E30 M10B18 need help with wiring!

    So my M10 has a complete engine harness and the L-jet ECU, but my E30 has no body
    harness, NONE AT ALL, and I'm trying to wire the car up with a switch panel, and I have no idea what I'm doing.

    So first of all, I wired the starter up to a push button through a relay and all that, and it turns
    over by applying power to the one of the spades on the starter, I have two bolts and two spades on my starter solenoid,
    left bolt to starter, right bolt to battery/alternator, and then a spade on top, and one on bottom, I have the
    push button plugged into the BOTTOM spade, it turns over fine, but then there is the black/yellow wire that comes out of the
    harness with the big red power wire, and will only reach the TOP spade, so do I plug it in there? Or what?

    I have read that the black/yellow wire is cranking signal, but is it cranking signal from starter to ECU, or from ECU to starter...
    I'm fucking confused.

    And then theres the start circuit, with the question of how do I make the ECU turn on? I mean it can't be on and ready
    to open the injectors all the time, so what wire turns it on?

    I have read that it is one of three wires coming from the ECU to the body harness, I believe I found these three wires, but the 3 pin connector
    is cut off, but from what I've read the solid green wire goes to the ignition switch, so should I just wire the green wire into a switch with power?

    Really ANY information on wiring up a switch panel, or E30 wiring will be useful, all my info has been gathered from here http://wedophones.com/Manuals/BMW/19...g%20Manual.pdf

    And here http://84.45.115.78/e30zonewiki/inde...nouts#Jetronic

    Please help!

    And here are those three wires coming from the ECU
    I mentioned, I thinks it's something like
    GREEN = Ignition
    BROWN = Ground
    BLK/BLU = Tachometer?
