Thx. I call it like that because of the little white plush seal on the rear view mirror. It belonged to my granddad and it had been in his former cars and the Polo for years. Always reminds me of him, when i drive the Polo around.

This post is under construction... Will finish it over the day

Alright, so the 2014 season is coming to an end... This year had a lot of ups and downs for the polo... sadly downs for the most part...

But lets start with the good parts. Had an awesome year with epic meets me and my friends attended. Made some new friends, saw cool cars.

Greatest thing ever was, that i was invited to poland for the 7th VAG Event (organised by Wolfsgruppe)

Ready for the road trip to poland

Quick fender work on the way to poland, because tire was rubbing.

              Hotel in poland

Awesome video of the VAG Event 2014 in Zerkow, Poland.

Wolfsgruppe / VAG Event shirt and Static Energy cans

Some final adjustments were needed before the departure from poland, because my exhaust was banging.

Headed home with some new friends from Berlin.

Short stop in Berlin to drop off my buddy Tommy from Low Factory.

This meet was super awesome and i hope i can be part of it again in the future.

We visited the XS Carnight, which was held in the Olympic Stadion in Berlin this year.

"It's forbidden by law to place any objects near the building" XD

I was also invited to the Baltic BBQ 2014, which was held in the same former East-german-air-base again.

Some footage from the Baltic BBQ

This year me and my friends visited the big "Mega-Treffen" of the www.polo9n.info -forums (was my 4th time since 2009)

Also went to some local meets

Got accepted for Flachland 2.0 meet which switched location this year and was insane. Quality of the cars was beyond comparison.

              Movies ^^

Some friends visited wolfsburg this year. Did some mods ^^

That was the fun part of this year :-)

Now onto the sad part. The polo had quite a rough season. The gearbox of the original parts car must have been slightly damaged because it was leaking oil since the engine swap had been done. So after two summers driving around with a slightly leaking gearbox i decided to get a refurbished on to be safe for good.

Right when the gearbox exchange was round the corner my oil pressure dropped and VVT-Unit started making nasty noises which let to a gearbox exchange with some side work like:

                - new timing belt and water pump
                - SAI delete
                - new VVT-Unit
                - new oil pan seal
                - new valve cover seal
                - fresh oil and filter (the oil had been changed back in april -.-)
                - and so on...

I used the chance and painted my valve cover in gunmetal grey.

I really thank my best friend Daniel for doing this shit. Wouldn't have made it without you.

After that was sorted out we were of to our trip to poland. The new "refurbished" gearbox was a piece of shit. It made even more noises than my old "damaged" gear box and if you tried to get out of reverse it got stuck and you had to get the gear out with force.

I called the company and demanded another gearbox. They delivered one, that was even worse. Looked like new, all clean and shiny, but looks don't always tell the whole story.
The second "new" gearbox did make even worse noise than the previous and altough the reverse gear on this one worked find all the other gears were sketchy as f***...

After nearly flipping the sh** for getting an other even more fucked up gearbox from the company, i contacted them again and made the offer to drive to their shop and get a gearbox swap done by them so the couldn't complain about any possible mistakes.
They answered that they were not interested, because they "checked" the first gearbox i returned to them and stated that the problems had to be caused by my car, because the gearbox was "fine".

Their offer war to give me back my old gearbox and my money in return for their piece of crap. I accepted. So last week an employee of the company came to bring me my old gearbox and my money back... Long story short... The gave me some old rusted out broken gearbox from another car with fake gearbox numbers stamped to it and my money and drove of... Now i have to find a wey to get a working gearbox for my car to get it back rolling again.

Oh yeah if that sh** is not enough it looks and sounds like my turbo is leaving for good too... FML...

So to have the Polo back on the road next year i have to save money for a gearbox and if everything wents south a new turbo and all the stuff that comes with it.

                Sorry for the long post.

Will put a picture of the nasty greased gearbox i got last week in here for sh**s and giggles.

Oh, i almost forgot i needed to buy a new japanese rear bumper right before Flachland 2.0 because a stupid woman didn't pay attention to her surroundings while she tried to park her Touran and destroyed my bumper. It's all fixed now with a new bumper, but this took away all my savings for a bigger intercooler -.-

It's that time of the year again... The Polo is in hibernation after receiving a completly rebuild and modified gearbox.

So i'm back with the Seat again ^^
This was how it looked for the winter season 2012/2013

I realised that i missed to show how it looked last winter. Refurbished a set of Exip 2000 wheels in 7x16" 36 offset and wrapped them with some Michilin winter tires. Painted them in four different colors. Because i can

Also sourced a cheap red Seat Ibiza Curpa Heckblende and a Cupra Rear wing.

So fast forward to this year. Because the front fenders were already starting to rust again after only one summer in hibernation i decided to go down in ratlook territory and do rusted fenders.

Fitted power windows and mirrors from a Polo donor car.

Will post extereur/intereur pics with a decent cam soon. For now a only have these shitty cellphone-pics.

Sick builds man. Love the Polo, though I'm not diggin' the rusted fenders on the Ibiza, but hey it's your car, keep up the good work.

Thx guys. Will be working on the Polo during winter time.

If everything goes as planed, i will daily the Ibiza next year. Already have a set of nice 17" wheels for it which will get the Harlekin-paint like the Exips. I will put some new fenders on next year maybe paint the whole car. The rusted fenders are just for sh*** and giggles, because they were already fucked.

I'll try to keep you guys posted on future mods.
